16th Baku International Film Festival 2025

We are delighted to announce that Stephen Castor and Jim Rygiel of It Just Us Productions will once again join the distinguished panel of jurors for the 16th Baku International Film Festival, taking place from October 10th to October 16th, 2025, in Baku, Azerbaijan. This year’s festival, a vibrant celebration of global cinema, will showcase 79 films from 26 countries, featuring a diverse array of short and feature films.

The 16th edition of the Baku International Film Festival continues to champion innovative storytelling and cultural exchange, providing a platform for both emerging and established filmmakers. Through its International and Local Short Film Competitions and International Feature Film Competition, the festival highlights bold narratives that captivate and inspire audiences worldwide.

With over 25 years of storytelling expertise, Stephen Castor and Jim Rygiel bring unparalleled insight to the jury. They will evaluate a compelling selection of films, engage in thoughtful discussions with fellow jurors, and help select winners across the festival’s prestigious categories, including the coveted Golden Pomegranate Award. Their contributions will elevate the festival’s mission to foster creativity and spotlight impactful cinematic voices.
